This was a SUPER sweet wedding. Lacy and Nico are just such kind, fun people. Full of love and vibrant energy, capturing their day was a breeze. Their wedding was planned on a gorgeous property in Campbell River in May and we had the most beautiful weather. Everything had that gorgeous, fresh green that comes with spring. It was so special.
They started out their coverage with a first look between them which was just the perfect way to start the day. Excitement, gentle nerves, the biggest smiles.
Post first look, it was time for wedding party photos! It was so fun to get this group moving, laughing and having the best time. Having wedding party photos before your ceremony is a great way to help shorten the time between your ceremony and reception if you are hoping to catch your cocktail hour or would like to do something else during that time.
After this, Lacy had a first look with her parents and honestly- even I was crying. This was such a heartfelt moment and a reminder that first looks don't have to be for just the bride and groom.
From there it was time for their ceremony! After that, we snuck away for more portraits of the 'just married' couple!
After a little wander, we had family photos and next it was time for cocktail hour before the reception! The sun was shining, drinks were flowing and everyone was having the best time mingling and congratulating the newlyweds!
The reception ended their coverage with an amazing dinner, sweet little personal touches, heartfelt speeches and some truly heart-string-pulling first dances. It was such an honour to be part of this day, I can't describe how much capturing these loving celebrations does for my heart.
