Getting to know Kylie and Josh has been so special. All I saw from them was kindness, smiles and so much love between them. When we met for their engagement session I was so enamoured with their connection and the way they looked at each other. It was truly so special.
I've always said your wedding day should be exactly that - YOUR day. Planned your way with all the details that feel like you. These two did exactly that. They had a late October wedding with elements of halloween and dark moody vibes. It was so fun and gorgeous. Kylie had a dress adorned with black lace that suited her and their day perfectly.
They had getting ready spaces close to each other which was perfect for capturing them both in their elements with the excited, nervous energy that comes with the beginning of a wedding day.
I will never forget the weather on this day. The weather people called it an 'atmospheric river' and that it was. It poured rain so hard, we were unable to go outside for photos for any length of time. Which meant pivoting to taking all photos indoors and under cover. Honestly, the space fit their wedding so well- it wasn't a shame at all.
Luckily, their ceremony had already been planned for coverage and more unique elements that fit their day. It was a stunning, heartfelt ceremony with hand tying and a gorgeous bubble exit!
After their ceremony we snuck off for some photos of just the two of them as Mr & Mrs before heading to their reception.
Ok so let me tell you about their reception! The dining area- to die for. The dancefloor... SO COOL! This was one of those times I just wanted to photograph details all day long. I could go on and on about it but see for yourself!
They had truffles catering which is always incredible, and DJ Chris Poynter with the best music and most incredible setup!
This day was absolutely one for the books. An incredible, ultra kind, loving couple. A gorgeous venue, Halloween vibes and a cozy fall atmosphere. Count me in every time!
